What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care is a traditional, scientific, complementary, and alternative healthcare discipline that concerns itself with the diagnosis and healing of mechanical impairments of the spine. Doctors of Chiropractic are trained professionals who have obtained formal chiropractic education and training to diagnose and treat patients suffering from neuro-musculo-skeletal dysfunctions, such as muscular or skeletal pains, joint and bone ailments, and neurological disorders affecting other organs and functions of the body. Despite popular belief, chiropractors can help a lot more than neck pain and back pain. Since the spine is what protects the nervous system, and the nervous system controls everything in the body, chiropractic care can help people heal from all sorts of aches and pains, including neurological issues like migraines, headaches, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, TMJ or jaw pain, earaches, vertigo or dizziness, fibromyalgia, chronic pain syndrome, insomnia, post-concussion syndrome, and more.
